ASK is a multinational automotive company specializing in cutting-edge audio and on-board infotainment systems. The new structure intended for offices and test laboratories is located in the historic headquarters of Autosonik, one of the Reggio Emilia companies from which the current ASK developed. In particular, the new facade fulfills the dual function of avoiding visual introspection towards the internal spaces, according to the privacy that the test and laboratory area requires, and of allowing the upper floor intended for offices to enjoy the entrance of controlled natural light through a semi-transparent shield. The resulting image is that of a serial structure, made up of micro-perforated corrugated sheet metal panels, whose support elements recall the sliders of an audio control panel, characterizing the face of ASK House of the Future.
